Please do not attend yoga class if you have an active cold, sore throat, are sniffling, sneezy, feverish or are otherwise feeling unwell. Thank you.

Dress in comfortable layers as the room temperatures do vary. You might like to bring a small blanket or shawl to cover up for the end relaxation.

You’re most welcome to bring your own yoga mat.

If you borrow a City of Vancouver mat, please sanitize it after the class by using the sanitizer spray and paper towels provided. Thank you.

Please be on time for class. You’re welcome to come a few minutes early to set up your equipment and relax before class begins. If you plan to drop-in, please factor in the time it takes to register, too.

Classes start promptly on time.
Latecomers might not be allowed – please enter quietly.

While the yoga classes are gentle, the exercises might not be suitable for serious injuries and certain health conditions. If you’re not sure whether yoga is right for you, ask a healthcare professional. They can determine whether there are any health contraindications such as high blood pressure (HBP), recent eye surgery, including laser eye surgery, glaucoma, breathing or heart conditions.

Sandra does not give medical advice. She guides the class with modifications that apply to most people’s bodies. Please listen to your own body – don’t force or strain yourself.

Focus on breath, relax and be in the moment.

Yoga is best practiced with an empty stomach, or 2-3 hours after your last meal. If that’s not possible, eat only a small amount of light food before class. You might like to bring water to drink.

The community centre is a scent-free environment and asks all participant to please respect a fragrance-free policy.

To register for classes or for any other queries, please contact the community centre during office hours at the numbers listed above.

Thank you for your interest in Ageless Yoga. Enjoy your classes!
